Lynden Hairstylist | Ailia and Kali

Meet Ailia and Kali! These two besties agreed to sit for us and let us experiment with their hair and makeup! ( such good sports!!)

Its not very often that I get to do what I want to peoples hair, so I took the opportunity to practice my braiding skills and try out some fun new styles! So today is more of a hair feature rather than a hair tutorial! I will explain how I did Kali's hair though and you all can give it a try :)

For Kali's hair we started with her natural deep part, and I used my 1 inch curling iron and put a few beachy waves in. Then, on her right side I stated a dutch braid and continued adding hair into it until I got to the middle back, then I just finished off the braid and tied it with an elastic.  I of course pancaked the braid :) and pinned it. To create the loop I did at the end of my braid I only pulled it halfway through the elastic my last loop and covered the elastic with a loose piece of hair. Then I took a section from her left side and twisted it and pinned it around the braid, pulling on some of the hairs to loosen it as I went! I did that two more times till I was satisfied with the amount of hair I had pulled back from her face, twisting, loosening and the pinning around her braid! 

We were able to get some fun clips of me doing this style and I put them together in a quick video!
