Lindsay (founder of Maven Botanics) sent me this beautiful little bottle to try after hearing how much I love taking care of my clients by pampering their skin! If we're being honest, I'm still a little leery about trying things for review because (heaven forbid) what if I don't like it?? I 100% believe in only promoting things I believe in and things I think will benefit our readers, and if I hated something I would have to be transparent about it! Scary! While I will be sharing my honest opinions on this product, I also decided to take the pressure off myself and expand into something I am calling "Princess Worthy Reviews".
And yes, it includes the Disney princesses. #SorryNotSorry
I divided up my precious bottle into little sample sizes and distributed it to 3 of my closest friends knowing that these ladies would be HONEST. I also have been familiar with their skin concerns for some time now. Each has a completely different skin type with specific needs to be addressed, so we will get to see just what exactly this little baby can do!

My personal thoughts
My skin is pretty low maintenance but it is dry/dehydrated (oops) most of the time, and because I am starting to get a little older (ripe old age of 26 over here) I want to be proactive about correcting my sun damage and preventing fine lines. Adding Enlightened to normal routine was pretty easy, (Click HERE to read about my routine) and I loved using my jade roller for a little lyphatic drainage action while the oil soaked in. I only needed 2 pumps to fully cover my face, but everyone will be a little different!
Most of the time I would use it directly before bed, but when I did use it in the morning my face would be ready after maybe 5ish minutes for me to start my makeup routine. Just gotta let it soak in!
The only thing I didn't fully appreciate (though it is quickly growing on me) is the scent, but honestly if you are a frankensence/bergamot person you will adore this! I'm typically a brown sugar/vanilla girl so I'm probably too basic for those scents!
Again my skin is not actively pissed at me or in need of a transformation. That being said, I usually start wearing tinted moisturizers in the winter (as opposed to just going naked the rest of the year) to cover my little bits of unevenness and redness. Thanks to this oil, I don't need to wear any skin coverage anymore! Yay for keeping my lazy routine! My skin is feeling very soft and nourished, not tight/flaky/dull like it usually is this time of year.
But. What we really want to know is would I buy it? And yes! I fully intend to buy a bottle for myself as well as a bottle for the spa so I can pamper my clients with the goodness that is ENLIGHTENED. Ask for it next time you book a facial!

Thoughts | My skin appeared to be hydrated, stay moisturized during the day and has been very clear! Used underneath a heavy moisturizer and did not make my skin oily.

Thoughts | love this product and I'm a skeptic about these kinds of things. I've been dealing with frustrating skin issues including a lot of cystic jawline acne. I used this product between toning and moisturizing and I was shocked at the immediate results. I've notices smoother, softer skin and a definite reduction in redness. I've also noticed that some of the more painful blemishes have healed more quickly and become much less inflamed. For someone who has tried every tip and trick in the book, it was such a relief to have a product that delivered on its promise. Although the price is high, the immediate and drastic results I've noticed in just one week were enough for me to purchase more of this product.

Thoughts | It smelled great! And I do think I noticed some of my acne scars fading a little bit! I don’t think I was using enough in the beginning, but when I adjusted how much I was using, I could feel it on my face and started seeing results!
