Golden New Year
2017 was nuts guys. Oh my lanta. Today we're taking a look back on the past year to appreciate the many blessings we have been given and gear up for 2018!
Some awesome things that happened in 2017!
Erika
We moved out of the park model and into our new house this year! Still have no idea what to do with all of our space!
Bella (our Chessie) had a litter of pups! We found homes for them all which was awesome, but I was super sad to see them all leave! If she happens to have another litter at some point, I get to keep one, my husband promised!
Chris and I had our first year anniversary! We are basically an old married couple who knows 'everything' now!! (that's a joke guys!) I love being married to this amazing man. So my marriage advice to all you youngins out there... make God the center and foundation of your marriage. You force yourself to think like Christ every time you interact with each other, and it makes such difference in how you end up treating another! Also, time goes by so fast, so enjoy every second of it!
December marks my 4 years at Reflexion Salon! I have been there since fresh out of beauty school! I work with super talented and lovely ladies there!
The most exciting thing by far this year was becoming legit, changing my name to Crowns of Gold and launching my official website! YAY! Click HERE to check it out!

Licensed Esthetician. Taking my love of skin to a whole new level. Super legit now.
Our little house. My amazing husband and I became homeowners in 2017, it was a crazy ride, but I swear a night doesn’t go by where we don’t comment on how much we love our home.
Barre3. I’m pretty much in a constant state of soreness now, but I’m loving every second of it. Beyond the great workout, the positive and encouraging atmosphere pretty easily spills over into all the other areas in life!
Podcasts. Current favorite is Goal Digger by Jenna Kutcher, thanks for the tip Ladies of Wander! It’s amazing how much more productive your work commute feels when you’re learning!
SQUAD. I recently took the step (baby steps for now!) to begin exploring the idea of building the ultimate bridal squad. First step, a second artist, Santana is killing it in her trainings and I am so excited!!
Another awesome things 2017 brought along was our BFF features, and we LOVED them! We had the chance to meet so many absolutely amazing young ladies in the area and just play. Thank you to all the ladies who came and hung out with us!
